Grade II listed former school, built in 1849 incorporating earlier materils by Sir John Nelthorpe to educate children in the parish. It was superseded by the new school in 1911, but remained in use as an overflow classroom until the late 1960s. It has been derelict since the 1980s though the parish has plans to restore it as a village hall.
