The first station here was Willesden which was opened in 1841 by the London & Birmingham Railway and closed in 1866. This was replaced by Willesden Junction station. A new station called Harlesden was opened by the London & North Western Railway on 15th June 1912. Bakerloo line services on the same tracks began on 16th April 1917, via a new junction at Queens Park station. The station is now served by Bakerloo line trains and London Overground. In this view underneath the footbridge, the bridge carrying Acton Lane over the tracks is directly behind, with the bridge carrying the Dudding Hill Goods Line directly behind that. The main lines between Euston and Birmingham and beyond are away to the right.
