Image: © Alan Walker Taken: 8 Apr 2007

The photograph shows the B5106 to the north of Ty’n-y-groes (ahead) and this section of road (watch out for traffic) is part of a walk that leads from St Mary, Caer Rhun to Ty’n-y-groes and back via Pontwgan. Some 20metres behind the viewpoint (on the left) there is the end of a public footpath that connects the B5106 with the B5279 (to the east, about 0.5km from the bridge over the Avon Conwy at Tal-y-cafn). The entrance on the left leads to the Wern Farm touring caravan park and the buildings in the distance (left) are in Ty’n-y-groes.
