This aerial view (taken from a hot air balloon) shows the junction between the A5 (Shrewsbury Bypass) and the B4386 (connecting Shrewsbury to Yockleton and Westbury). This view was taken in July, and clearly shows the predominant land uses in this area: arable and pasture. The wide hedgerows, planted as part of the Shrewsbury Bypass construction, form an excellent wildlife habitat; Kestrels can often be seen hunting along this stretch of road.
