Leybourne Lakes Country Park has been developed from former gravel workings. The Country Park was opened by the Mayor of Tonbridge and Malling on 11th September 2004. This is 'The Ocean' which appropriately with its name is the largest of the lakes. On the far side can be seen 'The Lakes' housing development.
