There are eight Highgate Ponds in total from Wood Pond at the top in the grounds of Kenwood House to Highgate no 1 Pond at the bottom. They follow the eastern branch of the lost River Fleet. The Model Boating Pond is the third pond up from the bottom and lies between Highgate Men's Bathing Pond below and Bird Sanctuary Pond above.
