I was taken by surprise as the riders arrived. We were only 5km from the start of racing (at Weardley see Image]) I expected that the riders would still be bunched in the peloton. But 3 riders had already broken away and here we see Nicolas Edet of the Cofidis team in the lead, with Benoit Jarrier and Jens Voigt behind him. So, not the best photo, and obscured by my daughter's blond hair.
