View SW on the A3218 Old Brompton Road: on the railways (to the left) towards Clapham Junction, Putney Bridge and Wimbledon. There are two stations side-by-side: one is on the LUL District Line (East and Central London, also Edgware Road) - Earls Court - Putney Bridge - Wimbledon branch; the other is on the West London Extension (ex-GWR, LNWR, LSWR & LB&SCR Joint) now London Overground Line, Willesden Junction - Kensington Olympia - Clapham Junction. The second station was rebuilt in 5/99, having been closed since 10/40 after damage in World War Two.
