Entering the River Parrett were any number of trading ships, as well as the occasional fishing vessel trying to find shelter. Once in the stretches here they would enter the Tidal Basin of the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal along this channel. Look closely at the mudflats and a little white bird - see Image] for a closer look.
