This plaque reads, "Erected by the people of Wordsley to honour their glorious dead who gave their lives fighting for honour truth and justice in the Great War 1914-1919. God, their King and country". Then follows the names of those who died in that war. Another plaque gives the names of those who died in the Second World War (1939-1945). Image Image
