One of three avenues of court housing on the east side of Holland Street (Mable's Villas, Ernest's Avenue & Eastern Villas) simultaneously being refurbished. 210 privately-owned dwellings in Holland Street were originally to be demolished and replaced by new houses. Subsequently, it was decided that the City Council would fund external solid wall insulation, rendering, boundary walls, railings and refurbishment work to the existing stock. Work began in Autumn 2013.
