Viewed from the end of the Shrewsbury-bound platform. In the distance is a short branch, which goes off to Oswestry. Cambrian Heritage Railways has a plan to rejuvenate the short stretch of line, in a similar manner to those heritage railways at Llangollen and the Severn Valley.
