On the east side of the A4222 Cowbridge Road in Talygarn. A rectangular notice shows THE RIDING OF HORSES WITHIN THESE GROUNDS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. I pondered how it was possible to get a horse into the grounds from this entrance. The gate is padlocked. I doubted if the couple of metres across the road behind the camera would give a horse enough momentum to leap the gate. Walkers enter through a kissing gate, impossible for a horse.
