On the east side of the A4222 Cowbridge Road in Talygarn. The notice on the right tells you to keep out unless you are a resident of this private estate. 24 hour security in operation. The sign on the left shows No Entry to equestrian traffic. A Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council blue plaque records that George T. Clark (1809-1898), Victorian scholar, doctor, engineer and ironmaster, developed and lived in Talygarn Mansion from 1865-1898.
