Between Middleton Avenue and Orpington Villas, six dwellings at Nos.19 to 29 Rensburg Street. The alley between Nos. 23 & 25 provides access to the rear of the properties in the aforesaid avenues. The city used South Africa as a source for a whole series of street names following a period of intense patriotism (later known as jingoism) during the Boer War, 1899-1902.
