The view from the farm on the day that I visited is pretty outstanding. The small footprint of land to the far right on the mid horizon is Eggerness Point at Garlieston on the Machars and in the far distance on the horizon is a very clear outline of the Isle of Man, which from this point to the Point of Ayre on the Isle of Man is about 30 miles.
