A blue rope tied into the left [east] hedge makes a handrail for pedestrians inching along the high verge. A bit of a detour from the Kings Road & Easterton Common Walk, as we couldn't find the footpath they describe. See http://www.marketlavington.org.uk/Walks%201.html for more details.
