View from the open section of the Orlit B towards the access ladder. This post > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3975839 which is co-located with an Orlit B hut > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3975844 was in use from December 1958 until October 1968. When Nick Catford of Subterranea Britannica visited the site in May 1999, all surface features were intact but the ventilation louvres were missing and the ventilation shaft was knocked over. Some compound fencing remains in place.
