Wicklewood Windmill

Five storey tower mill with patent sails and a fan tail. Built 1845-6 by Richard Mann. The mill ceased working in 1942 and was derelict by the 1970s. The mill was restored by 1981 and had a second major rebuild commencing in 2005. The cap was replaced in 2006 and the sails in 2012. The brake wheel is still toothless and the wallower and its shaft are still not fitted.
