The former Beccles and Bungay workhouse, in the village of Shipmeadow midway between the two. This 3-storey building stands on a small rise and is prominent for many miles around. Now it is a group of 24 houses. There is a useful link here http://www.suffolkchurches.co.uk/shipmeadworkhouse.htm
