View north east from Lee Bottom Road. This modern (1960s-70s) estate sits high up on the shoulder of the Calder Valley. It was built from about 1958 to 1980, bit by bit. Recently joined at this lonely location by a rash of new housing developments (2001-2005) on and around the former Todmorden Union Workhouse site.
