Queensgate Market Hall 1968-70 designed by J. Seymour Harris Partnership, with Leonard and Partners as consultant engineers. Reinforced concrete, partly clad in Elland Edge stone and innovative glazed ceramic panels by sculptor Fritz Steller. The market hall roof is made up of 21 columns supporting asymmetrical hyperbolic paraboloid (hypar) concrete shell umbrellas.
