Hogback grave stone in Lempitlaw Kirkyard

These stones were first introduced to Scotland in the 9-10th. century by the Danes. This one in particular is not nearly so old and, unless it was placed within the long gone kirk, is a late 18th. century stone since it is placed on the site of the old church which fell in to ruin and removed during that century.
