At the junction with Lambert Street, No.92 Newland Avenue, three-storey building. Former branch shop of William Cussons Limited, grocers, incorporated 1890, with headquarters in Kingston upon Hull. By 1954, the company was one of the major grocery chains, having 52 shops in the city. The business being dormant, it went into voluntary liquidation in 1996. Now occupied by Blu Avenu.
