The shoreline here is the north end of Goathorn Peninsula, with its east and west shores also identifiable. The oil well is the prominent landmark seen in many places in Purbeck. The boat is moored at Goathorn Pier. The peninsula is quite remote, and private, but is here viewed from Brownsea Island.
