Until the late 1970s this was the B2123 which was bypassed when the Falmer relief road was built. Now a dead end the street runs southwards pass the pond then turns and joins the new route. The cottages on the right were built in the mid 19th century whilst to the left are houses belonging to The courtyard which is a fairly recent development. see also Image
