Not far ahead the path turns to the left, as best seen on the 1:25000 map. From there, for about 320 metres, there is a straight section (Image), where the path runs parallel to the line of the Antonine Wall, which is immediately to the right (north) of the path. On the right, just before the corner, is the area where a burn flows under the path: Image
