School Lane leads from West Kingsdown to Knockmill and the remote countryside at the southern end of the Knatts Valley. At the end of the fence on the left a footpath leads up some steps to pass between the fences of Oakwood House (formerly Hollywood Cottage) and Manor Road to eventually reach St Clere Hill Road.
