Looking down from near Skidby Mill in a south-easterly direction, the housing on the west side of Cottingham around Green Lane is in the foreground while the fine day offers a panorama of central Hull. The modern roof of the Hull football stadium is at the right, with the very high Hull Royal Infirmary at centre.
