The name board of this church in Thomas Street is in Welsh only. It shows Y TABERNACL EGLWYS YR ANNIBYNWYR, which means Tabernacle Independent Church. The inscription, in English only, on a tablet on the wall above the central window, shows TABERNACLE CONGREGATIONAL CHAPEL 1880.
