Shows (left to right) Alpha Tower (1969-73), Crowne Plaza Hotel (c.1973) and the Axis Building. The Axis Building was once occupied by British Rail and apparently dates from 1970. The land behind the blue fencing is the site of a former multi-storey car park. The area is being redeveloped and will presumably not look like this for much longer.
