Opened in 1895 as Bridgeton Cross by the Glasgow Central Railway on the line from Rutherglen via Glasgow Central to Maryhill (Central), this station closed in 1964. It was reopened in 1979 as Bridgeton. View north west towards Glasgow Central (Low Level). For a similar view taken in 1961, see Image
