Plaque reads 'Jean Armour, wife of Robert Burns. Born Mauchline February 25th 1765. Died Dumfries March 26th 1834. Of a' the airts the wind can blaw, I dearly like the west, for there the bonnie lassie lives, the lassie I lo'e the best. Erected by the Mauchline Burns Club assisted by funding from Score Environment Ltd.'
