North Planks Business Centre is a new development situated just off the A6 at a site where they had previously hoped to hold the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show in 2008 and 2009. The public failed to gain access through these gates due to heavy rain turning the ground into a mud bath. The site had remain unused since 2009.
