No. 92 was a house of 1804, later Lion Works when workshops were added in the garden, c1840, no doubt for silversmithing, the cutlery or tool-making industry. Grade II listed. Its taller neighbour, Challenge Works, presents quite an ambitious brick and stone face to the road. Built c1883 for Louis Osbaldiston & Co, makers of steel, saws, files and other tools. Grade II listed.
