An old farmhouse on the western edge of Burnopfield, on the road leading down to Hamsterley. This is shown on the first series Ordnance Survey map of 1862 and is of a type known as a linear farmhouse, used in the area up until the late 18th century. The right hand part of the building would have been for the animals.
