Queens Hotel

The hotel was built in 1846 and originally was confined to the distinct section on the right, however, it absorbed the neighbouring Markwells Hotel on the left in 1908. The latter had been built in 1870 on the site of Sake Dene Mahomed's former baths part of which are in situ in the basement.
