This is all that remains of the old joint LNWR/GWR railway line from Wellington to Stafford, taken in summer 1992. This was taken from one of the distinctive three arched bridges which used to cross the line but which now stand uselessly in a field; another one is visible in the distance. The Wrekin, a well known local landmark for miles around, is visible on the horizon. There is pressure to reopen this railway, but personally, I can't see it ever happening.
