The 33 storey, 94m tall tower was designed by Sir Basil Spence, in partnership with structural engineer Ove Arup, and completed in 1970. It was originally built as part of the redevelopment of the Hyde Park Barracks. It is no longer in military use and is now exclusive private apartments.
