Selkirk Parish Church spire at Scott’s Place is on the left with Selkirk Sheriff Courthouse in Ettrick Terrace built in the Scottish Baronial style between 1688 and 1870 prominent on the right. This was viewed in early February as a low winter sun highlighted the buildings against a stormy sky.
