Pelham Crescent

Pelham Crescent is an elevated crescent of two halves, punctuated by the Grecian frontage of the Church of St Mary's in the Castle. Crescent and church are of 1824-8 designed by Joseph Kay for Sir Thomas Pelham, Earl of Chichester. The first floor wide oriel windows and further oriel windows above are a nice touch on this good piece of seaside architecture.
