Pownd a fu unwaith yn cyflenwi dwr i Lofa Garn Goch ond fe dagwyd y llyn gan dyfiant wedi blynyddoedd o esgeulustod. Ar ol glanhau ac adnewyddu'r safle mae'r llyn bellach yn gyrchfan i bysgotwyr a cherddwyr. After years of neglect the pond, which formerly supplied water to Garn Goch Colliery, had become choked and overrun by invasive plants species. However, after being cleared and rejuvenated the site is now popular with both anglers and walkers alike.
