The sale of donated goods, here and in other charity shops in the area, helps fund the cost of St Anne's Hospice which is owned by the Sisters of St Joseph of Annecy, who are its trustees. The Sisters have dedicated part of their private, fee-paying hospital (in the Malpas area of the city) to the free provision of this palliative care hospice.
