Looking SSE from the A422 Alcester Road bridge over the railway line just south of Stratford-upon-Avon railway station. The station is now a terminus and there is just enough line left, and a set of points, to move an engine from one track to the other. Of course the vast majority of trains coming here are diesel multiple units which run in both directions and do not need this facility.
