Old London Transport speed limit on South Croydon bus garage

London Transport and British Rail both made their own versions of national signs, and these were the equivalent of the pre-1964 speed limits for slower speeds below 20mph. 4mph is rare but not unique, as is 8mph. There are many more modern 4mph signs all around the building but this is the only old one.
