This turning circle, at the junction of Palatine Road (right) and Central Road, is the outer terminus of Stagecoach Manchester route 143 (one of the routes operated under the low cost, student orientated Magic Bus brand). Apparently designed for buses to enter at this end, load at the pavement on the left and then leave via Central Road, the 143 uses it in the opposite direction as the bus stop is now located on Palatine Road itself (the shelter can just be glimpsed under the foliage on the right).
