The War Memorial stands in the former market place. It was unveiled by Major Hill-Wood on 18th October 1919 and was Grade II listed on 17th December 2007. Designed by L G Whitehead, the carving was the work of J Beresford & Son. Time taken 3.36 pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
