Detail from a window of 1929 in the upper north chapel of St Alphege within St Alphege's Parish Church, in memory of Anne Lowe. The windows show scenes from the life of Alphege (Ælfheah), Archbishop of Canterbury who was martyred at Greenwich on 19 April 1012. His coffin is here shown being taken for burial in St Paul's Cathedral; his remains were later translated to Canterbury.
