It is a very wet and very windy afternoon and the flags are flying wildly - the blue one containing the Borough logo and the red one presumably indicating that bathing is not recommended today. The lifeguard point, whose roof can be seen at the bottom of the picture, was manned today but there was nobody venturing into the water.
