Opened in 1863 on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway's "Oldham Loop" line from Manchester to Rochdale, this station closed to 'heavy' rail traffic in 2009. It was rebuilt and reopened in 2013 as part of Metrolink. View south east towards Shaw & Crompton and Manchester
